Hi,
Today I am going to introduce you to one more new brand β Petals Bath & Body. They have a range of handmade soaps in different flavors. I had won this Petals Raspberry & Vanilla Fusion Moisturizing Body Bar in a contest along with some other Iraya goodies. Honestly, I didn’t have much expectations from it as its a new brand. But I was pleasantly surprised by its performance which is why I wanted to review this for you guys. Lets see how this handmade soap fares.

The brand has a variety of handmade soaps like Tropical Litchi, Cool Melon, Kiwi, Lovely Grapes, Veri Berri, Some Plum, Frangipani, Cherry Blush, etc. Also they have aromatherapy soaps like Anti Stress soap, Energizing soap, Meditation soap, etc.
Petals Raspberry & Vanilla Fusion Moisturizing Body Bar comes in a beautifully designed colorful cardboard packaging. Part of the soap wrapped in plastic is sneaking out which makes it unique and beautiful.
When I opened the box the first time, I was immediately greeted by the delightful scent of this soap. This handmade soap is raspberry red in color with white strips interspersed in it. Looks beautiful, isn’t it? It has a fruity smell of raspberries and vanilla. The fragrance is not artificial, but feels natural. I totally love it as it smells just like fresh fruits and vanilla icecream π .
The handmade soap lathers well. What I like most about it is the creamy lather it produces. The lather is very milky and creamy just like using a cream based body wash. I feel like applying vanilla icecream on my body π . It cleanses skin well and leaves it feeling fresh. The entire bathroom is filled with this lovely fragrance. Due to its creamy nature, it is very moisturizing and doesn’t dry out skin at all. My skin feels soft and smooth after bath. It claims that it is low in pH and I can feel it. Compared to other soaps, I can feel this is very gentle on skin.
This handmade soap is free from parabens, SLS, Urea derivatives, PVP/VA Copolymer, Propylene Glycol, Parabens, Stearalkonlum Chloride and Tea Compounds. It is vegetarian, has low pH and not tested on animals. My only concern is the confusion in ingredients list. They have mentioned soap base, but not mentioned what is the base exactly. Also percentage of raspberry oil is not mentioned. Am not sure about the fragrance and color as well, whether it is natural or artificial.
Does it satisfy all its claims?
Yes, it satisfies all its claims.
