So here’s back to back reviews of TBS products. Yesterday I reviewed The Body Shop Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Lotion and today its their most popular lip butter. I have very dry, chapped lips whatsoever reason ????. Some say it might be due to thirst. But I drink like gallons of water everyday ????. So many lip balms don’t work on me. Let’s see if The Body Shop Strawberry Lip Butter did any miracle to my lips. Read on.

The Body Shop Strawberry Lip Butter comes in a cute, red color tub packaging which has strawberries printed on it. So cute! I love the packaging of most TBS products.
Most strawberry lip balms come in pink tints. Since am not much into tinted lip balms, I have to skip them though they have a delicious scent of strawberries. Come on, who among us don’t like strawberries? My favorite fruits are strawberry, cherry, litchi and plums. They are just so lovely to look and delicious to eat ????. Anyway, am getting carried away. So The Body Shop Strawberry Lip Butter is one of those rare non-tinted strawberry lip balm.
The Body Shop Strawberry Lip Butter is white in color and has a thick, buttery consistency. It has a delicious, sweet scent of strawberries which almost all of us will like. Due to its buttery consistency, a small quantity only is needed each time. If you apply more, it will leave an opaque white cast on your lips, just like if you apply butter in excess on your lips.
I take a little quantity of The Body Shop Strawberry Lip Butter and apply on my lips in the morning. It melts when rubbed and nourishes your lips instantly. My lips feel soft and smooth. It doesn’t make lips glossy or shiny so you can apply your matte lipsticks safely over it. During nights, I like to apply a thick layer as a lip treatment. With continuous use, it has healed my dry and chapped lips. It can survive small drinks and lasts for 5-6 hours.
The Body Shop Strawberry Lip Butter doesn’t harden up in cold weather unlike many beeswax-based lip balms. Since I stay in Bangalore, which has cool weather most of the times, I have found many lip balms harden up. But it is not the case with this. The price is also affordable. They have recently reduced the prices. Previously it retailed for Rs.350 😀

I am ashamed to say I’ve never used TBS products ???? it might work for me in winters and yes the water thirst story sounds like a myth to me ????

Sounds amazing, but I usually ship TBS products due to high price point.. ans water has nothing to do with dry lips. They need moisturization on a regular basis….
