2018 Product Empties – Part 1

Hi all,
Am doing an empties post after a long time. There are many products that I have emptied over the past 6 months in 2018 and I have been collecting them to do a product empties post. But I never got the time. Now I finally thought of doing it as its the beginning of a new year. Since there are so many products, I have divided the post into two parts – Part 1 & Part 2. Let’s dive right in and see my empties from 2018.

Seer Secrets Lemon Cypress Japanese Mint Stimulating Soy Milk Enzyme Body Cleanser:

This shower gel has a refreshing scent of mint, not very strong though. It actually softens skin due to the presence of soy milk enzyme. Am looking forward to try other variants of shower gels from Seer Secrets. They have plenty of options.

Love Organically Mogra Luminous Glow Bath Oil:

I really loved using this body oil from Love Organically. It is certified organic and contains a blend of oils which nourishes skin without being non-greasy. And it has a very relaxing aroma of jasmines.

Organikare Milk Cream & Orange Hair Cleanser:

This has become my favorite shampoo currently. Most SLS-free shampoos that I have used don’t remove oil from hair properly or require more quantity. This one from Organikare removes oil, yet is gentle on hair. It doesn’t dry out hair. I repurchased another variant from them – Papaya & Neem one.

Innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Skin Toner:

I wanted to try something from Innisfree when they launched in India. So got this one. This contains 88% sparkling mineral water from Jeju mountains. I did like the product but I didn’t feel anything remarkable as such from the way bloggers rave about this brand ????

Sand for Soapaholics Rhimjhim Rose Face Mist:

I won this in a contest. This is an amazing face mist. It provides superb hydration. Contains infusions of rosemary, aloe vera, glycerine, allantoin, lotus ext, wheat protein, etc. Oily-combination skin people won’t even need a moisturizer after using this. It comes in 3 variants – rose, lavender and vanilla. I have the rose one. I would highly highly recommend this face mist for all skin types.

Ohria Ayurveda Raatrani & Mint Facial Mist:

This too I won in a contest. It is a luxury ayurveda brand. The combination of jasmine and mint is rare. I have already reviewed this in detail in my blog. Do check it out here.

O3+ Brighten Up Cleanser:

A very disappointing purchase. Its a basic cleanser but pricey. Contains SLS. Doesn’t brighten skin or anything ???? .

Artisanal Skincare Vanilla Cinnamon Cleansing Powder:

A gentle daily use cleansing powder. Makes skin soft and bright. Would definitely recommend.

Gulnare Aloe & Vit E Face Cream:

This worked so well for my skin. But sometimes I think whether we can just get same effects by mixing aloe vera gel with vitamin E capsule oil and applying ????.

MCaffeine Uplift Trance Caffeine Face Cream:

A plain simple face cream that moisturizes. Nothing special. Won’t recommend this brand at all.

MCaffeine Neem Caffeine Glow Gel:

Neem & Aloe vera is an excellent combination for acne. But this didn’t do anything for acne. It just hydrates the skin nicely and can be used as primer before makeup. Again not recommended. Then are tons other better aloe gels in the market.

Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Volcanic Clay:

I got this free along with the Innisfree toner. There are excellent reviews for this online by bloggers and youtubers. But it didn’t work for me. It didn’t do anything for my skin – deep cleansing, unclogging pores, whiteheads, brightening, tan – nothing that a clay mask is supposed to do. A big NO from me.

Imiana House Intensive Repair Eye Cream:

A very good eye cream with 100% clean, organic ingredients list. Especially for those with sensitive skin around eyes. I have reviewed this in detail in my blog. Check here.

That’s all the product empties I have for Part 1. Meet you soon in Part 2 of this.
