Review of Vilvah Products – Vilvah Natural Orange and Cinnamon Roll-On Deodorant & Vilvah Handmade Fresh Goat’s Milk Soap

As promised, am here with the detailed review of Vilvah products which I received around 3 weeks back in my mail. I had published a small overview of the products. If you haven’t read that, check it out here. In this post, I will review Vilvah Natural Orange and Cinnamon Roll-On Deodorant & Vilvah Handmade Fresh Goat’s Milk Soap. Sounds interesting? Sweating is a natural process and not something that we should stop our bodies from doing. Many mainstream deodorants use aluminium chloral hydrate and aluminium zirconium to block this process and work as an ‘antiperspirant’ to stop sweating. Most of the deodorant contain aluminium which is absorbed directly into the bloodstream when applied on your armpits. It is particularly not safe for women which lead to breast cancer and can cause hormonal imbalance. A lot of procedures and substances may affect you body, so make sure you consult the right cosmetic surgeon for that breast augmentation. Make your armpits happy with our natural deodorant range. The deodorant we make are not designed to block the sweat glands. Instead, we use a combination of natural ingredients to help absorb wetness, neutralise odour and making you smell fresh with our essential oil combination.

First of all, I need to appreciate the packaging. Most natural deodorants come in a jar form. But Vilvah Natural Orange and Cinnamon Roll-On Deodorant comes in a twist-up roll-on packaging just like how we get Nivea or Dove. Natural, good for skin + convenient, easy to apply! ????

This 100% natural deodorant has a creamy texture due to the presence of shea butter and cocoa butter. It melts when it comes in contact with skin. Apart from keeping you smell fresh throughout the day, it also moisturizes the skin well. Some of you might feel that it is oily compared to our regular deodorants. But I feel it nourishes skin well.

The fragrance is absolutely delightful – Orange & Cinnamon. Some natural products have strong, overpowering smell. But this is not the case with Vilvah Natural Orange and Cinnamon Roll-On Deodorant. The fragrance is just right, not too strong or too mild. It is very fresh and citrusy with a touch of warm notes due to presence of cinnamon. The scent lasts for upto 4-5 hours.

The ingredients list, of course, is impressive with 100% natural ingredients. No harmful chemicals, no preservatives (as there is no water based product, only butters and oils!).

Vilvah Handmade Fresh Goat’s Milk Soap:

Product claims

Goat’s Milk soap is ultra hydrating and this is a blessing for people with dry and sensitive skin. Goat’s milk contains alpha hydroxy acids and Vitamins which keep your skin younger looking and combats acne prone skin effectively. Regardless of whether your skin is healthy or not, it will certainly benefit from using a handmade soap, made not with water but with raw goat milk fresh from the farm. No milk powder or processed milk is used in this soap. Only raw, unprocessed goat milk from our farm and fresh goat’s milk has a highest nutritive value which renders miraculous benefits. Goats milk is highly moisturising, it also acts as a complexion booster and renders younger looking skin with prolonged usage. It contains an important mineral called selenium which prevents skin cancer. Lavender essential oil soothes the irritated skin.

I had given this soap to my mom for testing as I do not use products with goat’s milk in them. So this review is from my mom.

Vilvah Handmade Fresh Goat’s Milk Soap comes in a cute, jute potli packaging. Very environmental friendly!

Vilvah Handmade Fresh Goat’s Milk Soap is ivory colored and has a mild fragrance, not bothersome. The soap forms a very creamy lather which feels soft on the skin. It cleanses skin well without drying it out. It actually nourishes skin and provides good moisturization. My mom has very dry skin and she said with regular use, it helped to relieve dryness and made skin smooth, soft and so supple. It is a very gentle soap and pH balanced. It also soothes irritated skin. It is perfect for dry, sensitive skin. Others can use it during winters.

Overall, I am extremely happy with the quality of Vilvah products. They are priced little high but I feel, it is worth it as the quality is great, they are 100% natural and free from harmful chemicals and parabens, cruelty-free and have beautiful packaging.
