Review of Suganda White Lotus Moisturizer

Hi all,
Today I am reviewing another natural, organic and clean beauty brand called Suganda. I have reviewed their Suganda Neem and Green Tea Mask in my blog long back. You can click on the link to read it. It worked so well in clearing and preventing acne. Today let’s see about Suganda White Lotus Moisturizer which claims to lighten, hydrate and nourish skin.

Suganda White Lotus Moisturizer comes in a sleek, compact, green plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The pump mechanism was not working for me. So I had to open it fully and pour it in my palms. The complete ingredients list is mentioned on the packaging label.

Suganda White Lotus Moisturizer looks white in color and has a very runny, translucent gel consistency. The fragrance is very mild and soothing. You might not even notice the scent unless you take it close and smell it. Those who are sensitive to strong fragrances can definitely try this.

I have dry skin and so mostly use cream based moisturizers. When I received Suganda White Lotus Moisturizer, I wasn’t sure whether it will suit my skin type, as it is gel-based. But I was wrong. Suganda White Lotus Moisturizer beautifully hydrated my skin and I didn’t face any dryness. It is completely free from oils but it contains hydrating agents (water-based) like hyaluronic acid, panthenol, etc. It is very light-weight, yet very hydrating. The hydration effect lasts for almost an entire day inspite of me having a dry skin.

Another effect of Suganda White Lotus Moisturizer is the wonderful calming effect. White Lotus is one of the most soothing elements for skincare. When I apply this, I immediately feel a cool and calming sensation on my skin. I feel this is an excellent moisturizer for sensitive and acne-prone skin people. It never caused me any breakouts, itching, redness or clogged pores. If you get frequent acne, you can add this to your regime to soothe and calm your pimples.

After regularly using Suganda White Lotus Moisturizer for two weeks, my skin feels lots softer and smooth. I could also notice slight skin brightening and glow. Though I haven’t noticed any effect on dark spots as claimed (maybe it needs to be used longer for that). My skin looks visibly healthy and supple. The hyaluronic acid present in it takes care of intense hydration and improves skin elasticity and collagen synthesis. Am using Suganda White Lotus Moisturizer along with Suganda Vitamin C Serum. Since vitamin C gives slight tingling sensation, this moisturizer helps to perfectly balance it out and calm down the skin.

Overall, Suganda White Lotus Moisturizer is a great oil-free moisturizer suitable for all skin types. It is one of the most calming moisturizers I have ever used. It has carefully chosen ingredients for healthy, glowing, calm and serene skin. Also has some anti-aging effects and keeps skin looking young and radiant. It doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals at all. Let’s see what all it contains and their benefits.

Ingredients benefits

Vitamin B3 (also known as Niacinamide) can improve skin’s elasticity, treat discoloration, sun damage and revive skin’s healthy tone and texture.

Sodium Palmitoyl Proline is a safe skin conditioning agent.

White Lotus is full of vitamin C, B complex, antioxidants and minerals that help in a nourished and brighter complexion. It also helps to control sebum production and balancing oily skin. Since it contains vitamin A, it helps reduce inflammation and promotes healing of acne-prone skin. It is also anti-aging and helps strengthen skin connective tissues and keeps skin looking plump and smooth.

Panthenol works as a humectant by infusing water in the cells, retaining moisture deep within the skin tissues. It improves hydration, reduces inflammation and itching of skin.

Allantoin comes from the root extract of comfrey plant and helps to soften, protect and soothe the skin. It also stimulates cell regeneration promoting healthy skin.

Rose, Geranium, Patchouli, Sweet Orange Essential Oils help in skin brightening, reducing inflammation and healing acne.

Hyaluronic acid helps collagen synthesis, retaining skin moisture and has anti-aging benefits for skin.
