Review of Hydra By Ambika Products – Part 2 – Organic Body Wash & Organic Hand-Whipped Body Butter

This is Part 2 of review of Hydra By Ambika products. You can checkout my Part 1 review of Organic Face Cleanser & All Purpose Organic Face Cream here. Today I will be reviewing two products in their body care range – Hydra By Ambika Organic Body Wash & Organic Hand-Whipped Body Butter. I received this in my travel kit and have been using it for 3 weeks. So here I am with the review. To know more about the brand and packaging, check my previous post.

 

 

Review of Hydra By Ambika Organic Body Wash:

Ingredients:

Rhassoul clay, Raw honey, Coconut oil, Bakul essential oil, Jojoba oil

Hydra By Ambika Organic Body Wash is a clay-based body wash. It is dark brownish black in color and has a thick paste-like consistency. For those who are not aware about clay baths, it is a powerful ancient ritual to detox your body. The clay used in this is the Rhassoul clay which is a high-quality clay sourced from the Atlas mountains in Morocco.

Hydra By Ambika Organic Body Wash acts as a body wash cum body scrub. The paste like consistency is perfect. The scrub particles are not too harsh. In fact, its a very smooth paste. But it also helps to exfoliate and get rid of dead cells making my skin super smooth and soft. Since it contains honey and oils, it doesn’t dry out my skin. This is the first time am using a clay based body wash and am highly impressed.

Review of Hydra By Ambika Organic Hand-Whipped Body Butter:

Ingredients:

Cocoa butter, Shea butter, Olive oil, Coconut oil, Sweet almond oil, Apricot kernel oil, Jojoba oil

This is one of my favorite products in the entire kit. Hydra By Ambika Organic Hand-Whipped Body Butter is golden yellow in color and has a thick buttery consistency. As with all other products in their range, a small quantity of this would suffice as its rich and luxurious. The butter blends into your skin like a dream and makes your skin super silky smooth and soft.

I usually get the problem of dry feet and cracked heels in winter. With other body butters, I need to reapply them every 4-5 hours. But Hydra By Ambika Organic Hand-Whipped Body Butter lasts for an entire day. My skin feels so nourished and healthy even in these cold winters!

Since the time I started using all the 4 products from Hydra By Ambika, my skin is feeling so happy and healthy. I can definitely see an improvement in my skin texture and also a nice glow and radiance.
