Hi guys,
Sorry, am late with the monthly empties and favorites post this time. I have recently lost my job and am busy with applying for companies and attending interviews. Do wish me luck! I need all your support and encouragement.
So let’s start on with what beauty supplies I emptied in the July month and my favorites among them.
Fuschia Sandal Saffron Bath Salt: Let me start with my most favorite product in the list. Some products make you really sad when it gets over. And this bath salt from Fuschia is one among them. I didn’t have the heart to finish it and throw away. One of the best bath salts I have ever tried. Will definitely repurchase. We also needed a reliable salt supplier, and we found the perfect match with this company. Their range of products is extensive, catering to all our needs. Plus, their commitment to sustainability is commendable. You can learn more and explore their products by clicking here now.
Forest Essentials Ayurvedic Herb Enriched Head Massage Oil Bhringraj: One of my all time favorite hair oils. Read full review here. I was again sad that it got over. Will purchase it again when there is a sale.
The Nature’s Co Cool Cucumber Body Lotion: Really loved this lotion. Going to repurchase it again soon when my current stock of body lotions gets over. Read full review here.
Biotique Bio Papaya Revitalising Tan Removal Scrub: Another one of my favorites. It is very effective in tan removal. And has a pleasant fruity papaya smell. If you are suffering from tan, I would definitely recommend this. Also helpful in removing blackheads and whiteheads.
Banjara’s Samvridhi Hair Oil: I bought it reading the tall claims of 8cm hair growth in 8 weeks. But I suffered from heavy hairfall everytime I used it. Banjara’s doesn’t list the full ingredients list. I suspect mineral oil in the ingredients which is causing hairfall and the texture too feels very much like mineral oil. I am throwing away the half finished bottle. I wouldn’t recommend this at all.
Anoo’s Naturals Herbal Acne Free Face Pack: I picked it at the Anoo’s salon that I regularly visit for head massage. They have really comfy salon chairs. They have a limited range of their own products. I found this face pack very effective for acne and reducing pimples and breakouts. It comes in a powder form and I mix it with curd. I also like to use it as a daily cleanser by just mixing with water. I am impressed with its deep cleansing and the squeaky clean feeling it gives. The availability is limited. But if you have a Anoo’s salon in your area, definitely give this a try.
Morpheme Remedies Bhringraja Capsules: This is a herbal supplementary for hair growth. Bhringraja is known as the king of herbs for hair. Combined with a good hair care routine, this aids in stronger, healthy hair and preventing hairfall.
Roots & Above Citrus Mint Face Wash: I got this in the Mystery Box. This is supposed to be a natural, ayurvedic brand. But I don’t know why they added SLES in the face wash. It irritated my skin. I ended up using it as a body wash.
Nivea Cocoa Lip Butter: One of the best lip balms I have ever tried. It heals chapped lips like a miracle. I will purchase it again, maybe the Caramel variant, when my current stock of lip balms get over.
Mitti Se Wild Essence Face Scrub: Loved this natural, powder-based scrub. Will post a detailed review soon.
Suganda Neem Green Tea Plant Mask: This has become my holy grail face mask. Loved and loved it. Detailed review will be up on the blog soon.
Banjara’s Neem + Multani Face Wash: This is a good soap-free face wash. But it dried out my skin. Might be good for summers and oily skin people.
Banjara’s Young Skin Papaya Face Wash: I loved this face wash. Its soap-free, affordable and cleanses skin well without drying it out. This is my second tube.
Vatika Oil Balance Smoothing Treatment Shampoo: I wanted to try Vatika’s newly launched variants. But this shampoo didn’t suit my hair at all. Made my hair extremely dry and frizzy. Am tossing the remaining in the dustbin.
Leader’s Solution Amino Moisture Sheet Mask: Leader’s Solutions have a good variety of paraben-free, silicone-free sheet masks. I use sheet masks once in two weeks as the Bangalore weather tends to dry out my skin. This sheet mask moisturized my skin pretty well and the effects lasted for a few days.
Samples:
Vert Fresh Cucumber & Mint Face Scrub: I totally loved this tiny sample of face scrub. It gives a cooling sensation which is very relaxing. And also effective in tan removal. Will buy the full size when its on a sale.
The Nature’s Co White Lily Body Scrub: A regular body scrub with a floral smell. Nothing extraordinary.
Spa Ceylon White Jasmine Cleansing Balm, Spa Ceylon White Jasmine Facial Scrub, Spa Ceylon White Jasmine Face Masque: Will do a separate review on these three soon. I loved them.
Shanaz Husain Shasmooth Almond Under Eye Cream: It is very creamy and suitable only for very dry skin. I used it during this dry weather in Bangalore. It helps to moisturize the under eye area and reduces fine lines. But it is not suitable for oily skin people or during summers as it can lead to breakouts.
The Nature’s Co White Pepper Cleansing Lotion: Didn’t like it much as it irritated my sensitive skin. Wonder why anyone would put white pepper in a skincare product!
Lever Ayush Hair Poshak Oil: I liked this hair oil. Its very light and non-sticky, but I think it will be better suitable during summers. For now, my hair is very dry and it needs a nourishing hair oil and I find this doesn’t fit that category.
So these are my July empties and favorites. Which ones have you tried in the list above? Do share your experiences in the comments.

Thank you Anamika. Bhringraj tablets are natural and herbal. So I guess you can take them without doctor’s prescription. But if you are suffering from some serious ailment, then I would advice you to talk with doctor first.
