Packaging:

The packaging comes in the usual black box with a pretty pink pouch inside. It surely looks luxurious. There is also a booklet which lists all the products details along with detailed instructions of how to use them. This month, the booklet came in a beach theme indicating summers, fun and frolic.

Sova Chamomile & Coorgi Narangi Body Wash:

This is the star product in this month’s box. From the latest trending Instagram and FB posts, you would have known that Sova is a new luxury brand and they have quite an interesting assortment of products. None of the other subscription boxes have come up with Sova products yet. I used the Sova hair oil that I received in last month’s box and really liked it. I had my fingers crossed to receive one more Sova product this time. And aptly for the weather, the box came with a refreshing Sova Chamomile & Coorgi Narangi Body Wash. I just had a whiff of the scent and it smells so soothing and calming. Definitely a good addition to the Shades of April Edition.
Claims: This gentle Chamomile and refreshing Coorgi Narangi body wash slips off your skin like delicate dew, leaving your skin feeling soft and supple each day. Its moisturising macadamia oil reduces dryness while shea butter massages your skin with a polished silky texture. This formulation with fennel extract deep cleanses skin leaving your body relaxed, revived and radiant.
Ingredients: Macadamia Nut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Shea Butter, Vitamin E, Chamomile Extract, Fennel Extract, Olive Oil, Aloevera Extract

The Nature’s Co Cool Cucumber Face Wash:

I have been wanting to try this face wash for a long time ever since I tried The Nature’s Co Cool Cucumber Body Lotion. Do check out the review of this amazing body lotion in the above link. Its a nice one for summers. Now I am really happy to receive the deluxe sample of the The Nature’s Co Cool Cucumber Face Wash in this month’s box. I think I will put this in my travel kit which I carry when traveling between my home town and Bangalore. Another star product in this month’s box!
Claims: The cooling, cleaning & cleansing property of cucumber extract helps your skin to making it soft & supple. It also improves your complexion & tightens the open pores. Willow tree extract contains beta hydroxy acids, which gently exfoliates the skin and cleans within the pores, and its antimicrobial property preventing the formation of blackheads, whiteheads and pimples.
Ingredients: Cucumber Extract, Willow Tree Extract, Aloevera Extract, Vegetable Glycerin

MCaffeine Uplift Trance Face Cream:

MCaffeine is a much hyped about brand nowadays. I only like their Neem face wash till now. Their hair products weren’t that good. And body butter was just okay. So waiting to test this. The ingredients list seem good with argan oil and caffeine. So I am hoping its going to be good.
Claims: The rich, super moisturizing face cream—ideal for normal-to-dry skin—uses a unique caffeine complex to defeat dryness and give your skin a radiant glow. Caffeine in the cream tightens your skin, and Vitamin E keeps the skin healthy and smooth.
Ingredients: Vitamin E, Argan Oil, Caffeine

Mond’Sub Sheet Masks:

Sheet masks are always a good addition in a subscription box. Since I sheet mask regularly, I run out of them quickly. Also, I haven’t yet tried this Pearl variant from Mond’sub. So looking forward to using it. There are 2 sheet masks in this month’s box:
MOND’SUB Pearl Revitalizing & Brightening 3D Hanging Ears Neck & Facial Mask:
Claims: Combining the pearl extract from the deep sea, which contains rich minerals, vitamins and amino acid, added with Hyaluronic acid and seaweed extract, this mask can efficiently hydrate and moisturize the skin.
Ingredients: PROPYLENE GLYCOL, GLYCERIN, COLLAGEN, TREMELLA FUCIFORMIS (MUSHROOM) EXTRACT, HYDROLYZED PEARL, HYALURONIC ACID, ALLANTOIN, PHENOXYETHANOL, FRAGRANCE
MOND’SUB Deep Brightening & Whitening Beauty Facial Mask:
Claims: This is a kind of magic facial mask, which makes your skin white and bright. It can add the moisture for skin and repair the damaged skin bringing you healthy, bright and soft skin.
Ingredients: PROPYLENE GLYCOL, ARBUTIN, ELLAGIC ACID, TOCOPHEROL, ROSA RUGOSA FLOWER EXTRACT, XANTHAN GUM, DIPOTASSIUM GLYCYRRHIZATE, METHYLISOTHIAZOLINONE, LODOPROPYNYL BUTYLCARBAMATE, PEG-40 HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL.

MyGlamm Two Of Your Kind – Long Lasting Enamel Duo:

This is the third time we are receiving MyGlamm nail polishes in a row of 3 months. And am actually bored. I don’t use nail polishes too. So am just giving them to someone else. But if you are someone who love nail paints, these duo will make a great collection. And the packaging is so pretty as well. The shades that I received are Passioned and Confectionary. Passioned is a pastel pink shade and Confectionary is a bright red one.
Claims: Ultra-shiny, long wearing and sensational shades that team up together for a true colour or playful nail art. Gel effect polish glides on effortlessly and easy application. Highly pigmented to provide exceptional coverage and with a plumping agent to level out any imperfections on the nail.

Overall, I think the contents of VanityCask April 2018 – Shades of April Edition – are really good and worth a try. There is a mix of face care, body care and makeup. The face wash and body wash will be really useful for summers. I was only wondering why there were no gift vouchers this month.
