Hi all,
Its been a week since I wrote my last blog post! I had gone on vacation to Goa and came back just yesterday ????. Today, I have come to office and I thought, before starting my work, I will write a quick post to catch up on things. So today’s post is #ShopWithMe for Winter Beauty Essentials. I have already done a similar kind of post for monsoons – #ShopWithMe Monsoon Beauty Essentials. As winters have started, we all definitely need to upgrade our skincare and haircare routines. Winter mornings are cold, we usually feel lazy to get up and get ready for office. Mostly we end up waking late, after snoozing the alarm a dozen times, just wash our face, dab on some powder, apply a bit of kajal and lipstick and head out! But we need to understand skincare cannot be neglected in winters and a proper CTM routine is required both in morning and night, else excessive dryness can cause wrinkles and aging skin. So here are some shopping recommendations for this winter which might prove useful to you!
Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti-Ageing Revitalizing Cream Cleanser:
Winters call for a gentle, cream-based moisturizing face wash. This cream cleanser from Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti-Ageing range is a perfect choice. It contains minute particles which help to slough away dry skin and dead cells and leaves your skin feeling fresh and moist. You can also try some powdered face cleansers like Kama Ayurveda Mridul Soap-free Face Cleanser. These don’t strip away the natural oils of the skin and maintain the pH leavels.
Yves Rocher Hydra Vegetal Hydrating Toner:
Choose a mild toner which also helps to hydrate the skin. Am currently using the one from Yves Rocher Hydra Vegetal range. It helps to tone and hydrate the skin beautifully. Skin is instantly refreshed and radiant. Also it is free from parabens, mineral oil, colorants and silicones. You can also go for Plum Chamomile and White Tea Calming Antioxidant Toner.
Himalaya Herbals Youth Eternity Night Cream:
Night cream is important all round the year. But they become significant especially in winters. You don’t want to wake up in the morning with a dry, flaky face, right? Go for a deeply nourishing and repairing night cream. The newly launched Himalaya Herbals Youth Eternity Night Cream is a good option. Wake up to soft and supple skin without any greasiness or oiliness. It is suitable for all skin types.
Iraya Kumkumadi Facial Oil:
Its highly necessary to include a facial oil in your winter skincare regimen. I would recommend Iraya Kumkumadi Facial Oil. It is a multi-tasker – helps to nourish skin, fade dark spots and give healthy, bright, glowing skin.
Alanna Naturally Beautiful Golden Glow Face Pack:
Clay based face packs are drying for the winters. Choose a gel-based face pack which also help to hydrate the skin. Alanna Golden Glow Face Pack comes in a gel-form and contains aloe vera and other ingredients to hydrate the skin. It also helps to remove tan and give a golden glow.
Natural Bath & Body Vanilla Butternut Ultra-Rich Shower Creme:
This is a rich, luxurious shower cream with a warm vanilla scent perfect for the winters. The rich cream melts on the skin drenching it in moisture and instantly revitalizes it. It contains shea butter which is rich in vitamins and minerals. It is also free from sulphates and parabens.
Biotique Bio Carrot Seed Anti-Aging After Bath Oil:
After bath oils are very important for the winter season to prevent scaling and itchiness of skin. Apply bath oils just after your shower while your skin is still damp to lock the moisture in. Follow up with a body lotion for hydration. Biotique Bio Carrot Seed Anti-Aging After Bath Oil is a good and affordable option.
Aryanveda Aqua Cool Mint Active Moisturization Facial Kit:
Do an at-home facial atleast once a week. You can buy any of the facial kits available online or in your nearest supermarket. I would recommend Aryanveda Aqua Cool Mint Active Moisturization Facial Kit as its specifically designed for hydrating and moisturizing the skin.
Aroma Essentials Tomato Pumpkin Cream Hair Cleanser:
I have just one product recommendation for hair care. Its difficult to find a cream-based hair cleanser which is also 100% natural. Aroma Essentials Tomato Pumpkin Cream Hair Cleanser is one of my latest finds and works excellently in combating dry, frizzy hair in winters.
Lotus Herbals Ecostay GoBold Creme Kohl Intense Kajal:
Coming to makeup, if you feel too lazy to do proper makeup on winter mornings, you can just put on a kajal and lipstick and you are good to go! This is an all day smudge-proof and water-proof kajal. It has longstay, single stroke, intense colour pay-off, luxurious texture and preservative-free.
Island Kiss Puerto Berry Blush Lip Moisturizer:
I prefer using a tinted lip balm instead of a lipstick as they are moisturizing and nourishing as well as have a decent color-payoff. Island Kiss Puerto Berry Blush Lip Moisturizer contains kokum butter, avocado butter and mango butter, red raspberry seed essential oil and organic berry stain. It is free from petroleum, phthalates, artificial coloring and fragrances.
So that’s all folks! I hope my online shopping guide for winter beauty essentials was helpful for you. Let me know your favorite beauty products for the winters in the comments below.
