Hi all,
Here am with review of another hair care product. Am usually very picky when it comes to hair care products. ‘Coz not all shampoos or conditioner or hair masques suit me. Many of them cause me hair fall and make my hair so frizzy and tangled. Since I had a good experience with Tvakh Coffee Bean and Ginger Hair Stimulating Shampoo, I decided to try another variant from the same brand. Moreover the claims of ‘Hair Thickening’ & ‘Antioxidant’ caught me! So here is my review on Tvakh Hibiscus & Carrot Seed Hair Thickening Antioxidant Shampoo after using.

Tvakh Hibiscus & Carrot Seed Hair Thickening Antioxidant Shampoo comes in a tall plastic bottle with a pump packaging. Their old packaging had flip-flop cap. Its good that they have now revamped their packaging. Also the labels are maroonish red in color and the liquid inside shows as golden yellow making the entire bottle look luxurious. I totally love the color choice.

Tvakh Hibiscus & Carrot Seed Hair Thickening Antioxidant Shampoo looks golden yellow in color and is a transparent liquid. It has a medium thick consistency and is not runny. The scent is artificial, but very mild and not bothering.

Tvakh Hibiscus & Carrot Seed Hair Thickening Antioxidant Shampoo doesn’t produce much lather since it is free from sulphates. The lather is less and feels light. So you need more quantity. However it cleans hair really well in one wash itself. It removes oil if you have applied. In the directions for use, it is mentioned to leave the shampoo on hair for 5-10 mins. I haven’t kept it that long, but only 3-4 mins max. Since its a hair thickening and antioxidant shampoo, I think to notice such effects, you need to leave it on for longer. But I don’t have the patience and wash off soon.

After washing, my hair feels smooth and soft without any tangles or frizziness. The hibiscus extract helps in conditioning hair. Also my hair looks somewhat shiny. But the smoothness lasts only for a day. The next day, my hair becomes frizzy again ????. And I need to apply a hair serum or leave in cream. The shine lasts for somewhat longer 2-3 days.

Tvakh Hibiscus & Carrot Seed Hair Thickening Antioxidant Shampoo didn’t cause me any hairfall. I can say it has helped slightly in hair growth and my hair feeling more voluminous and bouncy. The antioxidant claims might be true as I can feel the health of my hair is restored. I have read and heard a lot about antioxidants for skin but this is the first time am seeing a haircare product with antioxidants. It also contains vitamin A, beta carotene and Omega 6 essential fatty acid which is great. True that our hair too goes through a lot of pollution, environmental stress and heat. I would like to use it for a longer time and see how it works on that. Also it claims to restore degraded keratin. Again something which can be observed on long time use only. But for now am happy with the results of this shampoo and I would purchase it again.

I think this shampoo would suit all hair types, even oily hair. While their coffee and ginger shampoo will suit normal-dry hair more.
