Today am introducing a new natural beauty brand in my blog – Natural Bath & Body. Am sure many of you would have seen this brand’s products trending online in many subscription boxes especially. I bought few of their products when they were on 40% discount sale in Smytten. And this Natural Bath & Body Grapefruit and Vitamin C Fabulously Fruity and Sparkling Foaming Cleanser is one of them. The name sure does sound tempting, right? Fruity and sparkling! So let’s see whether this face wash really works as good as it sounds. All Natural Bath & Body products are free from parabens, sulfates, harmful colorants, preservatives, fragrances, and other abrasive cosmetic chemicals. Also from this post, I would like to add a ‘Cleansing Capacity’ rating for face washes and cleansers in the blog. I feel this would help you understand how well different face washes cleanses and choose one for your skin concerns.
Product claims
A deep cleansing vitamin C rich face wash made with grapefruit extract clears dirt and oil from the surface of the skin. The natural skin whitening properties of Grapefruit clarify the skin and gives it an even tone. Being completely free from Sulphates, the soft, rich and creamy texture of the foam makes this face wash particularly gentle for all skin types.

Natural Bath & Body Grapefruit and Vitamin C Foaming Cleanser comes in a sturdy, transparent plastic bottle with a convenient pump packaging. I have traveled with this and there has been no leakage or spilling. The packaging does add a pop of happiness to your shelves with the bright orange color. All the details of the product are listed on the bottle.
Natural Bath & Body Grapefruit and Vitamin C Foaming Cleanser looks orange color in the bottle but when you pump it out, it dispenses as a white bubbly foam. It has a subtle, refreshing citrus scent, not very strong or overpowering.
The foam feels very soft on the face, but there is a slight tingling sensation similar to the one we experience when we use other citrus based face washes. It deep cleanses skin of all dirt, impurities, oil and gives a squeaky clean feeling. Yet it doesn’t dry out skin. Skin feels sparkling and smooth, my guess is that citric acid present in it causes some mild chemical exfoliation.
With regular use, I have noticed some slight skin lightening effect, maybe due to the presence of grapefruit oil. As claimed, it is suitable for all skin types.
What disappointed me was the ingredients list, as the only good things I see in the ingredients are glycerin, aloe vera extract and grapefruit oil. The rest are sulphates-free surfactants, preservatives, emulsifiers, stabilizers, etc. So in that way it feels like a very ordinary face wash. But yes, if you are just looking for a sulphate-free, paraben-free face wash, then this is a good option. Also wonder where the orange color of the face wash is coming from? You guys have any clue?
The price I feel is kind of high considering the ingredients list, but most often Natural Bath & Body has 30-40% discount sale, so make sure to buy them at that time.
Does it satisfy all its claims?
Yes, it satisfies all its claims.
What I like?
* Paraben-free and sulphate-free.
* Deep cleanses skin of all dirt, pollution and oil.
* Doesn’t dry out skin.
* Citric acid present in it causes some mild chemical exfoliation giving smooth, sparkling skin.
* Slight skin lightening effects due to grapefruit oil.
* Refreshing citrusy scent.
* Attractive colorful packaging.
What I don’t like?
Pricey.
Suggestions for improvement:
More natural ingredients can be added like orange oil, orange peel extracts, lemon peel extracts, etc.
Would I recommend?
Yes.
Would I repurchase?
I might not. As I like to try different face washes and cleansers. But if its on a great deal or something, I might pick it up.
Value for money?
Slightly pricey.

Natural Bath & Body Grapefruit and Vitamin C Fabulously Fruity and Sparkling Foaming Cleanser is a deep cleansing, paraben-free and sulphates-free face wash. It might not be fabulously fruity considering the ingredients list. But it does give you a sparkling clean skin. Would recommend you to try it once.

Nice and honest review , I am using Mist from this brand which is quite good 🙂 This cleanser seems good but bit over priced .
