This month is the Monsoon Makeover Edition similar to last month which was Radiant in Rain Edition. As the name says, it contains specially curated products for the monsoon. Also, this time VanityCask has sent 3 full-sized products 😀. Let’s see what all we have got in this month’s box.

Contents of VanityCask Monsoon Makeover Edition
* Glamisha Sulphate Free Shampoo:
Monsoons wreak havoc on our hair. So the first two products are hair care products to protect and condition our hair. They are from a new brand called Glamisha. The shampoo is a paraben-free and sulphate-free shampoo. Since my Biobloom shampoo is getting over, I have received this at the right moment. Looking forward to try it to see whether it can control my frizziness and hairfall which is the main problem in monsoons.
Claims: The sulphate-free shampoo from Glamisha uses the most premium ingredients that moisturise and nourish your hair. The shampoo is a non-foaming formulation which is sulphate and paraben-free. The aloe vera in the shampoo has healing properties which conditions your hair as you perform your cleaning ritual. It is designed for colored hair and for those battling hairfall.
Key Ingredients: Aloe vera
Price: Rs.395 for 100ml (Full size)
* Glamisha Hair Conditioner:
The next product is a hair conditioner from the same brand Glamisha. But I was kinda disappointed looking at the ingredients list as it contains silicones and sulphates. It is free from parabens though. But since my hair is allergic to silicones, I might not use this. Both the shampoo and conditioner are full-sized products.
Claims: The reasons to condition your hair may increase many-fold during monsoons. The Glamisha Hair Conditioner loaded with Pro Vitamin B5 and tea tree oil is the perfect follow-up to your shampooing routine. The tea tree oil helps to unclog hair follicles, nourish your roots and reduce hair fall gradually. The Pro-Vitamin B5 helps preserve moisture and the aloe vera conditions the hair.
Key Ingredients: Tea Tree Oil, Pro Vitamin B5, Aloe Vera
Price: Rs.355 for 100ml (Full size)
* Gulnare Pumpskin Face Wash:
Gulnare, as I have said earlier, is one of my current favorite brands. This year seems to be a Gulnare year for me as I have been trying lot of products from them. I have tried their Seaflo Face Wash previously and liked it. This time I have got the Pumpskin Face Wash. I have never used a product with pumpkin or pumpkin seed oil. But nowadays I have been reading about the benefits of Pumpkin seed oil for skin. So looking forward to try it. This is again a full-sized product.
Claims: Made with pumpkin, honey & rosehip oil, this natural, all-purpose daily cleanser not only provides a wonderful pumpkin spice aroma, but is gentle enough for ultra sensitive skin while providing a deep pore cleanse. It works double duty by washing away surface impurities and protects skin’s moisture balance. Great for normal to oily skin types
Key Ingredients: Honey, Pumpkin, Pumpkin seed, Pumpkin seed oil, Rosehip oil, Castille soap, Glycerine
Price: Rs.400 for 60ml (Full size)
* Votre Multi Vitamin Face Masque:
I have tried many Votre products thanks to VanityCask. And I have to say that I have developed a liking for the brand. Its cruelty-free, PETA-certified and vegan. Last month, we received the Votre Multi Vitamin Night Cream which I was using and finished up last week only. I really liked the product. This month we have received face masque from the same range and am quite excited to try this as the ingredients list look very promising. Just look at the list, contains almost all fruits extracts. This is a deluxe sample of 30g.

* The Nature’s Co White Tea Night Cream:
As I have said, the Votre Multi Vitamin Night Cream I received in last month’s box got over last week. So I was thinking of buying a night cream when I received this deluxe sample of White Tea Night Cream from The Nature’s Co. I have had my eyes on this product but since it was very expensive and I didn’t know whether it would suit my skin, I had never purchased it. This is a deluxe sample and is almost half the size of the full-sized product. This would help me get a good feel of the product and whether to purchase the full size or not.
Claims: Here’s how you put your skin in recovery mode as you go to sleep, this monsoon! White tea has anti- ageing effects and antioxidant properties that boost the immune function of the skin cells. In addition, it replenishes and hydrates your skin. This product from The Nature’s Co. takes care of all your skin woes while you rest in slumber.

* Gift Vouchers:
Apart from these products, I also received 3 gift vouchers from Kaya, Raw Pressery and JE Couturier.
So these are all the products I have received in my VanityCask August 2017 Monsoon Makeover Edition. Am happy with all the products except the hair conditioner.
