Review of Tvakh Coffee Bean and Ginger Hair Stimulating Shampoo

Ladies and gentleman! First of all, I would like to say, if you have been searching through salon after salon for a moisturizing, nourishing shampoo which doesn’t make your dry, then stop it right now! Salon shampoos (like Loreal Professional, Wella, Schwarzkopf) moisturize your dry hair well leaving behind silky, smooth hair that you can flaunt. But do you know that they all contain silicones which is the ingredient responsible for giving the smoothness and shine. Silicones cause hair fall as they form a coating on the hair and with prolonged use, hair becomes weak and brittle. You would need a heavy SLS-based shampoo to remove the build up which again makes your hair dry and frizzy. To break out of this cycle of SLS and silicones (SLS dries out and makes you reach out for conditioner or serum with silicones. Then silicones cause build up making you reach for SLS based shampoos ????), you need a natural shampoo which is also moisturizing and nourishing to the hair. Enter Tvakh Coffee Bean and Ginger Hair Stimulating Shampoo which is free from SLS/SLES, silicones, phthalates, petroleum oils and parabens. Read on to know why I am raving about the product.

Tvakh Coffee Bean and Ginger Hair Stimulating Shampoo comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a flip-open cap. In the product I received, the cap doesn’t shut tightly, so its not travel-friendly.

Tvakh Coffee Bean and Ginger Hair Stimulating Shampoo is brownish in color and has an invigorating smell of fresh coffee beans and ginger mix. The scent immediately energizes you. Coffee lovers will fall head over heels in love with it as I do ????. The consistency of the shampoo is runny.

Tvakh Coffee Bean and Ginger Hair Stimulating Shampoo lathers only mildly due to the absence of sulphates. But it thoroughly cleanses your hair. My tip is don’t use too much shampoo because it doesn’t lather. It will just dry out your hair. I did it in the beginning thinking I have to use more quantity because lather was less and it just made by hair dry and frizzy. So I would advise you to take small quantity, dilute with water and use. The lather might be less, but your hair will be cleansed nevertheless.

After washing, my hair felt soft, smooth, healthy and hydrated. There was no dryness or frizziness. I could also see a little shine in my dry and lifeless hair. I even skip using a conditioner after this as there is no need for it.

The shampoo claims that the caffeine action in the products aids in microcirculation of blood vessels, giving limp hair a lift. I have fine, limp hair. I could see it added a little lift and volume as claimed. I can’t comment on the anti-dandruff claims as I don’t have dandruff.

The price is affordable as well compared to other SLS free shampoos. I have tried many SLS free shampoos but most of them causes dryness and frizziness. Tvakh Coffee Bean and Ginger Hair Stimulating Shampoo gives a spa-like effect just like salon brands, but without all the harmful chemicals.

Sounds like a really good shampoo. You are right about using less quantity even if it doesn’t lather. I’ve faced the same problem with some SLS free shampoo, they dry out if used a lot of quantity. Very detailed review.
