Review of Gulnare Handmade SeaFlo Face Wash

Today, I am going to review a 100% natural, handmade face wash. Ever since, I have switched to sulphate-free skin care and hair care products, I have been trying out various organic and handmade brands. I got this face wash in the May Tropical Beauty Edition of Envy Box. This was a new brand for me and I tried to check some online reviews, but couldn’t find any. But after trying it out, I was really impressed by it and wish to try out more products from the brand. So let’s move on to the review of Gulnare SeaFlo Face Wash.

About the brand:
Gulnare Skincare offers skin care solutions for the socially conscious. Our products remain 100% natural and each batch is hand made under our personal supervision, with lots of love thrown in for good measure. Be it our Coffee Caramel body scrub or Time freeze night balm, you’ll feel the difference from the first time use it. Our range of product gives you quality results without compromising on your or Mother Earth’s health. Our philosophy is simple… why would we apply chemicals to our skin that we wouldn’t feel right about ingesting? We know from experience that our skin responds much better to foods and topical products that are sourced from mother earth and so our aim will always remain true – to correct and preserve the health of the skin without ever disrupting it’s natural balance; the result being a skin that is glowing, healthy and harmonious, from inside out!
* Eco-friendly products.
* 100% natural products that are free from synthetic preservatives and toxic chemicals
* Cruelty free – no animal testing.

IBeautySpy spies:
My first look at the ingredients list, and I thought they had mentioned only the key ingredients. The list was so small. Then I realised that was the complete list. But I don’t know how they manage to preserve the face wash. I wish Gulnare shed some light on it if they are reading this.

Coming to the face wash, it comes in a tall, slender transparent plastic bottle. The light green liquid inside gives the packaging a refreshing appeal. I love the graphics printed on the front.

The face wash is colorless with a very faint greenish tint. It has a medium consistency, not very thick nor very runny. The fragrance is mild and refreshing to the senses.

The face wash doesn’t lather at all. Yet it deeply cleanses my skin and leaves it feeling fresh and clean. I have dry and sensitive skin and I find this face wash to be apt for my skin type. It doesn’t dry out skin at all. It makes my skin soft and hydrated with a healthy glow.

I haven’t faced any irritations. In fact it soothes any irritations I have due to acne or sunburns. Though it contains some oils as mentioned in the ingredients list, it didn’t cause me any breakouts.

I don’t know about oily skin people, but I feel that using an all natural soap-free face wash has improved my skin to a great extent. I never wish to switch back to SLS based face washes. The difference is easily noticeable. If you wish to get healthy, glowing skin, I would recommend you to try a SLS/SLES free face wash and see the changes yourself. And Gulnare Handmade Seaflo Face Wash is a good choice to begin with.

Does it satisfy its claims?
Yes, it satisfies all its claims. It makes skin fresh, healthy and hydrates and softens.

What I like:
* Handmade.
* 100% natural.
* Mild refreshing smell.
* Deep cleanses skin and makes it fresh and clean.
* Doesn’t dry out skin.
* Hydrates and softens skin giving it a healthy glow.
* Calms and soothes irritations.

Suggestions for improvements:
* Explain how the face wash is preserved if no preservatives are added.

Would I recommend?
Yes, definitely, if you have dry, sensitive and mature skin. Normal and combination skin people can also give this a try.

Would I repurchase?
Yes, definitely. I would also like to try their other variants.

Value for money?
Little pricey. I wish they have sales or discounts on their products.
