Review of Kronokare Moist-Urge Moisturising Face Cream

Hi all,
If you had read my Lovely Lifestyle haul sometime back, you know that I had purchased this Kronokare Moist-Urge Face Cream. After using it diligently for 3 weeks, its time to review and prepare its scorecard. Before starting, I would like to say this face cream is totally natural and free from parabens, silicones, mineral-oil and fragrances. Which is what made me go for it in the first place. You know how picky I am about the ingredients in my skincare products. So let’s move on to the review of this paraben free face moisturizer – Kronokare Moist-Urge Moisturising Face Cream and see how it fared on me.

IBeautySpy spies:

I have normal to dry skin and since winters have started, my skin has become extremely dry and lost its glow. It was dull and dehydrated. I needed a deeply moisturizing cream but many creams contain silicones to give you the smooth effect. My skin is allergic to silicones. I needed a silicone free and paraben free face moisturizer. I selected this one from Lovely Lifestyle as it was free from parabens and silicones.

The cream is milky white in color with a herbal fragrance. The fragrance is mild and not bothersome.

I use this as a night cream since it is rich and deeply moisturizing. It is a little heavy to be used as a day time cream and causes oiliness within few hours of applying. But as a night cream it is excellent. Within a week, all my dry patches was gone and my skin was soft, smooth and well nourished. I also observed a healthy radiance and glow in my face. Since it contains beetroot extracts, I hopelessly wondered whether it would make my face rosy ????. But no, nothing like that happened. Just radiant and glowing skin. I wish they would make some creams to give rosy skin like a princess ????.

The only problem that I faced with this cream is that it caused me some whiteheads on my T-zone. But I use Vichy Pore Tightening Toner everyday which takes care of them 🙂 . But still, I wouldn’t recommend this cream to oily, combination skin people. This paraben free face moisturizer is best suited for normal, dry and mature skin. It can be an excellent anti-ageing cream as I found it smoothed out some fine lines on my forehead. Oily and combination skin people can try Kronokare’s other variant Bash the Gloss Face Cream.

I have sensitive skin, but I haven’t faced any breakouts with this cream.

Though the price is high, only a tiny amount needed each time for night time use. So one tub would last you a long time.

I have a little confusion in the ingredients list. The claims mention beetroot extracts and vitamin E which is not mentioned in the ingredients list. Does it contain them or not? I wish Kronokare team can clarify on this.

Does it satisfy its claims?

Yes, it satisfies all its claims. Makes skin soft, hydrated and glowing.

What I liked:

* Rich and deeply moisturizing cream.
* Gives smooth, soft and nourished skin.
* Gives a healthy glow and radiance.
* Smooths out fine lines.
* An excellent anti-aging cream to maintain skin youthfulness.
* Doesn’t cause breakouts.
* Free from parabens, silicones, mineral-oil and fragrances.

What I did not like:

Causes whiteheads in T-zone.

Would I recommend?

Yes, as a night cream for normal, dry and mature skin.

Would I repurchase?

Am not sure. I would like to try other variants of paraben free face moisturizer from Lovely Lifestyle. They have so many tempting stuff.

Value for money?

Yes, it is. Considering its a silicone free and paraben free face moisturizer and that it lasts for a long time.
