Let’s SetUp Your Life 14 Days Event – Module 2 – Repairing – Task #9 – Tone / Moisturize – Beauty Task

Hi all,

Team IBeautySpy extends great pleasure in welcoming you to this online event Let’s SetUp Your Life.
Here we are in Day 9 of the Let’s SetUp Your Life Event with Task #9. We are still in Module 2.

Coming to today’s task, it’s a Beauty Task – Tone / Moisturize.

Why Toning & Moisturizing?

While cleansing and face pack are part of the Module 1 – Cleansing & Detoxifying, they help in cleansing and detoxifying your skin. Toning & Moisturizing are part of Module 2 – Repairing, they help in repairing your skin and bring it back to life.

Toners hydrate your skin and replenish it with water content. They also close and minimize your pores after face wash. Certain toners can also help with acne and provide mild exfoliation. Find on groenerekenkamer.com/ the best way to make your hair curly and more.

Moisturizing is the most important step in skin care for repairing and rebuilding your skin. Your skin needs moisturize and hydration to stay healthy, soft and supple. Skin should not be dry. The nature of our skin is that it needs moisture always. Moisturizers and facial oils also help in reconstructing cells due to the presence of many vitamins, minerals and fatty acids in them. So that new cells replace the old cells in your skin.

Moisturizers also adds glow and shine. How does skin glow actually? Skin glows when its smooth enough to reflect light. If the stratum corneum is adequately moisturized and relatively free of dead skin cells, it appears more translucent and reflects light more evenly, leaving skin to glow. If skin is dry and covered with dead skin cells, then light is scattered instead of reflected, leaving it with a dull appearance. That’s why it’s so important to use moisturizers and topical exfoliants – they help skin to stay healthy – increasing its ability to reflect light. A glowing complexion is often more about optics and the reflection of light, and less about being fairer. For skin to appear radiant and “glow-y”, light should penetrate the complexion’s top layers, diffuse laterally and then reflect back. If light reflects back to the eye, you see a glow. The more the light is bounced back the better the glow. The smoother the surface, the better the reflection. For example, a mirror reflects light very well because the surface is smooth.

Task #9 – Tone / Moisturize:

Step 1:   Wash your face using a good face wash suitable for your skin type. Use a gel-based face wash or a cream-based face wash as per your liking. I used to use only cream-based face washes. The first time I used gel-based face wash, I felt shy. They are actually lovely. Gel-based ones suit my skin more as they deep cleanse without stripping skin of moisture. I have some recommendations for you:
Oily skin:   Cosmetofood Skinenergy Cinnamon Raspberry Cleanser, Roots & Herbs Silver Face Wash, Herbal Fusion Cardamom Orange Face Wash
Normal skin type:   Thuyaa Cherry Face Wash, Juicy Chemistry Kakadu Plum Face Wash
Dry skin:   Mystic Naturals Glow Face Wash, Herbal Fusion Blueberry Musk Face Wash

Step 2:   Spray some toner/hydrosol on your face. I have some recommendations for you:
Oily skin:   Mystic Naturals Sandalwood Hydrosol, Mystic Natural Mitti Se Hydrosol, Plum Green Tea Face Mist, BlendItRawBeauty Neem Leaves Hydrosol
Normal skin:    Forest Essentials Hayasan Rose Water, BlendItRawBeauty Amla Hydrosol, BlendItRawBeauty Turmeric Hydrosol
Dry skin:   Thuyaa Anti-Aging Toner, Juicy Chemistry Lavender Hydrosol

Step 3:   Moisturize your skin. I have some recommendations for you:
Oily skin:    Enn’s Closet Sleeping Mask, Greenie Mill Seabuckthorn Green Tea Tulsi Gel Moisturizer
Normal skin:    Earthy By Ellenza Radiance 24K Cream, Blended Botanica Magic Balm
Dry Skin:   Fiducia Botanicals Prickly Pear Moisturizer, Juicy Chemistry Australian Sandalwood Night Cream, Earthy By Ellenza Saffron Fantasy Cream

With this, task #9 is complete.

We come to the end of Day 9 – Tone / Moisturize. I have shared Task #9 as well as importance of toning / moisturizing.
